ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Senior User Research Manager to form the User Research Team at VNDIRECT - a group that helps create relevant design and pleasurable product by adding realistic context and user insights to design process. Your key focus area will be leading User Research team to practice research expertise in strategic and day-to-day decision-making process, to guide research at a company scale and to transform research results into actionable insights for our customers and business.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop an overarching user research strategy and work with the User Research team and cross-functional teams to execute that strategy.
- Build efficient research process to plan, execute and deliver in a timing manner with development process.
- Manage end-to-end research projects across different platforms/domains.
- Demonstrate, explain, and teach others how to apply a range of research methods, understanding the balance and trade-offs between “quick ‘n dirty” and rigor research.
- Create and codesign mixed research methods to collect triangulated user data.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Product Design, Product Analytics, Content Strategy, UX & Design to build customer-centered knowledge.
- Lead a team to drive research initiatives that help develop and define human/business needs into a coherent set of insights that inform and influence VNDirect digital product strategies.
- Proactively contribute to Customer-Centric culture at VNDIRECT.
- Comfortable navigating from ambiguity to clarity.
- Communicate, advocate for, and socialize actionable insights in a clear and compelling way.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years in the field of User Research with deep understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- 2+ years of experience managing a team of researchers.
- Outstanding communicator both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent collaboration skills.
- Experiences in applying or building user research tools (e.g: interactive prototype testing, survey…)
- Problem solver who can be effective in situations with limited information
- Humble and motivated to ship the best product
- Passion for the field of UX Research.
- Evangelize research. Share user insights within the broader organization and externally in creative ways.
- Strong understanding of product and business metrics
